A place made with intention.
Built from travel, craft, and a deep love for Holbox.
THE STORY
Coco Lou was created by Delphine, a Swiss host and lifelong traveller whose roots stretch across worlds — from Europe to Mexico to Australia.
After years of exploring cultures, homes, and handcrafted spaces around the globe, she envisioned a place that brought these influences together in a quiet, modern way.
What began as a personal dream slowly became Coco Lou: two private villas inspired by Mediterranean light, Mexican craft, colonial Yucatán architecture, and the ease of island living.
Today, Coco Lou reflects the places that shaped her — peaceful, warm, designed for real life, and held with care.
A HOME SHAPED BY CULTURE & CRAFT
Everything at Coco Lou has a story— reflecting local craft, cultural heritage, and a warm, modern aesthetic.
Tzalam wood furniture, handmade in Tizimín by Yucatán craftsmen
Clay lamps from Oaxaca, sculpted and woven by hand
Mosaico de pasta tiles from Mérida, echoing Yucatán’s colonial heritage
Green glazed terrace tiles made in Italy, inspired by Moroccan riads
A Turkish lantern acquired in Zurich, a quiet nod to Delphine’s travels
These elements coexist softly, bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of global connection.
Coco Lou isn’t curated to be perfect. It’s curated to feel human.
